CenturiSoft Announces Email Encryption

CenturiSoft now meets HIPAA/High Tech requirements on voice and fax delivery via email. Using 256-bit AES encryption technology, CenturiSoft has been able to encrypt these messages before they leave the Centuri Messenger system. Having the actual file encrypted allows delivery to an unsecured device such as a smartphone. When a user accesses the file, they are prompted for the “password key” and are allowed access only if they have the proper credentials. This allows users to receive fax and voice messages the same way and satisfies the security and confidentiality of the message or fax to the end-user. Password key can be set or changed for individual subscribers as often as needed for compliance requirements.

Combined with our ‘Colia’ compliance, earlier this year, [this] signals yet another reason to have CenturiSoft in your customer requirements,” said John Pope, president of CenturiSoft. CenturiSoft is able to offer these capabilities to current contracted customers at no charge and requires no off-line time to update.

CenturiSoft Joins Sangoma’s Global Partner Program

CenturiSoft has joined Sangoma’s Global Partner Program as a Certified Application Partner.  Sangoma Technologies Corporation is a supplier of voice and data communication applications.  CenturiSoft will integrate its Centuri Messenger with Sangoma’s NetBorder Express.

Centuri Messenger, CenturiSoft’s unified communications system, will support NetBorder Express by integrating TDM and VoIP networks seamlessly with existing switch and enterprise customers.  NetBorder Express communicates with IP-PBXs, speech-enabled IVRs, conferencing servers, contact centers, and trunking gateways using SIP to reduce deployment time, complexity, and cost.  The solution fills a void in the call center marketplace for VoIP and TDM integration with additional capabilities, such as Centuri Messenger’s pre-announce, logging, and unified communications features.

As a result, CenturiSoft customers will benefit from cost-effective intelligent gateway capabilities at a very competitive price point for both TDM and VoIP networks.  The functionality between Centuri Messenger and NetBorder Express will also provide customers with the flexibility to add new features and enhancements over traditional trunking gateways that would otherwise not be possible.

CenturiSoft Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary

CenturiSoft is celebrating 10 years serving the telecommunications industry.  John Pope founded CenturiSoft in 2000 with the vision to “Revolutionize the Way We Communicate.”  He departed from past standards, building a new messaging product, the Centuri Messenger, from the ground up using ISDN-PRI (digital) trunking instead of analog trunking.  In 2003, the Centuri Messenger extended its ISDN-PRI capabilities to include VoIP and prepare for the future with HD audio and video capabilities.  With two patents pending, its “Call Logic Engine” and scripting has allowed CenturiSoft to accomplish hundreds of installations, in various industries, interfacing to several different switches and vendors seamlessly and without sacrificing features.  CenturiSoft has installations worldwide, including the United States, Canada, China, and United Kingdom, located in answering services, call centers, and medical, government, and utility organizations.

CenturiSoft takes this time to thank their customers, resellers, and technology partners for making this a reality; they are appreciative to all that have supported and fostered their growth over last 10 years.  Their mission is “To become the number one systems platform provider for the Unified-Communications market,” stated John Pope, president, “and that is becoming more a reality today.”

CenturiSoft currently has two divisions: its applications division (CenturiSoft) and its service provider/hosting division (ReparoVox Communications, acquired in 2006).

Telescan Joins with CenturiSoft to Introduce 2-Way Voice Messaging

Telescan has introduced the integration of automatic message delivery notification between Centuri Messenger and Telescan’s Spectrum.  This jointly developed software integration allows the Centuri system to notify Spectrum of the delivery of a message with a date and time stamp.  This new feature eliminates the need for call center agents to periodically check for message delivery, saving time and improving accuracy.

Marcy Hewlett, President of A Better Connection, was the test site for the new Telescan/CenturiSoft integration.  She said, “The marriage of Telescan’s Spectrum with CenturiSoft’s Centuri Messenger has been a blessing for us.  The automatic filing of messages that have been taken by our operators and delivered to our clients via voice dispatching has given both our clients and our dispatchers peace of mind.”

“We are excited to have Telescan further leverage the capabilities of the Centuri Messenger” stated John Pope, President of CenturiSoft.  “Now our clients who own both CenturiSoft and Spectrum benefit from this partnership with increased accuracy and saving time every day.”
