Amtelco’s Telescan Installs First Spectrum Dialer

AmtelcoAmtelco launched the Spectrum Dialer, a platform-independent product incorporating soft-switch technology, jointly developed by Amtelco and Telescan. Spectrum Dialer is a fully-featured SIP-based dialer that performs automated services such as appointment reminder calls and mass notifications; it is specifically designed for use by contact centers wishing to serve multiple clients on a shared platform.

System administration and client account set ups are handled by an intuitive graphical user interface. Call lists may be imported as CSV and Excel files or uploaded via web-based self-service. After completing dialing, the system can automatically email a summary report to the client; users also may create custom reports.

The first Spectrum Dialer was installed in June at Answerphone, Inc., which uses Telescan’s Spectrum call center platform. General manager Doug Lindsey stated, “Once again, Telescan has demonstrated its responsiveness to our requests for new products. We’ve been eagerly awaiting the arrival of our Spectrum Dialer, which will help us enter additional markets, as well as offer complementary new services to existing clients. We’re also excited at the prospect of joining a trusted vendor in its continued development of an amazing new platform that holds the promise of being best-of-breed in its class. I’m grateful to everyone on Amtelco’s development team for their efforts.”
