Associations
Associations: There are many
associations in the call center arena. They
provide various services and benefits to their members to help them in better
running their call centers. Some
associations have a general focus; others are specific, concentrating on call
centers using one vendor's products or even on an individual product line.
Historically, associations are not-for-profit, relying on member
volunteerism. The trend is towards
paid staff or even a for-profit business.
