Help Desk Software: Help desk software is designed to aid call center agents in providing technical customer support to callers.  It includes support mechanisms, such as FAQs (frequently asked questions), a problem resolution database, or decision tree software.  Communication can occur via phone call, email, or text chat.  Sometimes fax-on-demand systems are included or integrated with the help desk software.
