Voice Logging Recorders: Voice
logging recorders, or call recorders, are used extensively by call centers as a
means for agent training, caller verification, and dispute resolution.
Recordings are indexed and searchable by a variety of parameters,
including time and date, agent, caller ID, trunk or port (for troubleshooting),
call length, and so forth. Some call
loggers continuously record all headset audio, whereas others only record calls;
some systems allow for either option. Once
recorded, calls are saved in digital format, where they can be later stored,
sorted, emailed to clients, deleted, and archived for long-term storage.
