CenturiSoft and Professional Teledata
Team Up to Enhance Performance (7/08)
Professional Teledata and
CenturiSoft introduced a new dimension of their partnership today. The pair
worked together to improve the performance of the PInnacle system by
consolidating their voice logger and voicemail systems so that they can be run
on a single server.
“We take pride in that we hold
our partners to the same level of development and support that we hold for
ourselves, and CenturiSoft has been no exception to that rule,” stated Dale
Schafer, vice president of Professional Teledata. “The voice logger and
voicemail systems with PInnacle can now be run on a single server, eliminating
an additional level of support and improving performance and functionality of
the system overall.”
“We share Dale’s sentiments and
are so pleased with the synergy amongst our collective teams,” stated John Pope,
president of CenturiSoft. “We’re just as pleased to make this release and are
encouraged by the initial responses from our clients.”

CenturiSoft Releases ACD Call
Queuing and Routing Module
(6/07)
With over two years of design and development and testing with several
customers, the rollout of CenturiSoft’s ACD call queuing and routing module has
been released. Implemented as a stand-alone solution or as a complementary
switch configuration, it allows additional functionality to existing call
control. “Customers have been asking to be integrated seamlessly into the
Centuri Messenger by having full ACD call queuing and routing functionality,”
remarked Mark Schaeffer, vice president of development at CenturiSoft. “We are
now able to deliver on that request.”
With features that rival many switches on the market, CenturiSoft is able to
provide stand-alone customers with full voice communications functionality
without resorting to stand-alone ACDs or switches. Some of the features include
scheduling of call routing and queuing based on time of day, queue overflow,
queue timeouts and termination, and options for callers; it works with all the
features the Centuri Messenger has today. When operated with an existing
switch, the Centuri Messenger uses the capabilities of the switch and provides
new live voice messaging applications.

CenturiSoft Celebrates Six Years (5/07)
CenturiSoft announced their sixth year in business, with several milestones
accomplished. In January, CenturiSoft installed their 100th system, finalized
their acquisition with ReparoVox Communications, installed several new Centuri
Digital Voice Loggers, and are in final negotiations with one of the incumbent
carrier customers for voice messaging. They also announced their first user’s
group meeting to be held at the ATSI Conference Expo in June 2007.
CenturiSoft also announced the capability to scale the Centuri Messenger to 368
ports running with VoIP technologies. “Our close partnership with Intel and
Microsoft allow us to further advance our technologies seamlessly to a broader
market,” remarked John Pope, president of CenturiSoft. “We would also like to
thank all of our customers, resellers, and partners for making this a reality;
we have renewed our commitment to the industry in pursuing continuous product
development and innovation, and we are appreciative to all those who have
supported and fostered our growth.”

CenturiSoft Announces True Digital Voice Logger (4/07)
CenturiSoft announced their add-on solution Digital Voice Logger, or DVL. While
many companies do voice logging of calls, CenturiSoft is the first to record
analog, digital, and VoIP calls simultaneously. Most loggers record agents’
calls using analog lines and voice cards; CenturiSoft developed interfaces for
ISDN and VoIP to record using the digital TDM (Time Division Multiplexing) or
RTP (Realtime Transport Protocol) audio paths directly. This eliminates noise,
transcoding, and audio errors that are prone to traditional loggers.
Since the DVL records digitally, remote VoIP agents and stations can be easily
recorded. Traditional analog recorders cannot provide these capabilities.
Along with the DVL technology, access to the audio is available via CD/DVD,
email attachments, or a secured Web portal. Due to CenturiSoft’s partnership
with Microsoft, they are using the new Professional Encoding Technologies
(PET). This allows message compression, with virtually no loss in audio
quality, at 38 kilobytes per minute.

CenturiSoft Completes Acquisition of
ReparoVOX Communications (1/07)
CenturiSoft completed its
acquisition of ReparoVOX Communications. ReparoVOX Communications was chosen
because it is a well-known ASP (Application Service Providers) within the
telecommunications industry. The company will continue to focus on the service
provider and enterprise market segments, with a strong lineup of products based
on the trademarked “CleverContact” portfolio of services, now unified under the
CenturiSoft name.
“We want to continue to service
our combined customer base as well as acquire new customers, meeting traditional
market needs and those of the emerging wireless and VoIP markets,” commented
John Pope, CenturiSoft president and chief technology officer. “Our mission is
to become the number one open systems platform provider for the unified
communications market segment.”
“Aligning our company with the
resources of the CenturiSoft’s development team is good for our customers and is
what was needed to take ReparoVOX to the next phase of growth,” commented Barry
Porter, ReparoVOX president, who will continue with CenturiSoft in an advisory
position to insure fully integrated operations.
