Advertising Specifications

Artwork for ads in Connections Magazine should be submitted as follows.

• Email your ads to dave@connectionsmagazine.com.

• For larger files sizes, email dave@connectionsmagazine.com (or call 866-668-6696) for a FTP link to upload the files.

• Alternately, you may mail your files on CD ROM.  A color proof should be provided; note that color variants do occur during production.  Mail to:

• Connections uses Macintosh platform and Quark Express 4.1 or earlier.  Ads not created within Quark Express must be saved in EPS or TIFF formats.

• JPEG files, Microsoft Word, and PageMaker documents are not acceptable.

• Include all graphics and postscript fonts used (true type fonts are not acceptable).  A proof is required for matching output.

• Color and grayscale photo images/halftones should be saved at 300 dots per inch (DPI) - TIFF format is preferred.  Line work should be saved at 800 to 1200 DPI; EPS format is preferred.

• Insure that all ads arrive on or before the artwork deadline.

• Advertisers will be invoiced for any production charges incurred to meet these requirements or to design your ads.
